The most frequently asked question during this meeting was about vaccination status/testing procedures. We have update the [Covid Protocols] page with all of the necessary steps and information you will need to complete the State of Hawaii Safe Travels program requirements.
Medication
Should a student have a prescription medication that will be administered on our trip, complete the WHS REQUEST TO ADMINISTER MEDICATION. There are specific guidelines listed in this document – if you have questions, please direct them via email to our school nurse, rebecca_giguere@roundrockisd.org.
Medication should be turned in to the choir portable, 909, on Wednesday morning, March 9.
Transportation
- make sure that you bring an ID, especially if you are over 18
- state issued ID
- passport
- student ID
- Vaccine/CoVID Testing
- Vaccine Card: Take a picture of your vaccine card and your ID in the same photo if you can
- Bring a mask – you will be required to wear a mask while on the flights and any other public transportation
- Each group will meet outside the terminal.
- We will move mostly as a group.
- All groups should rendezvous at the departure gate.
- No person should move by themselves – all movement happens in groups of no smaller than 4.

- Choir shirts will arrive sometime on Monday (during UIL) – you MUST pick the shirt up before WEDNESDAY morning – there is no coordinated shorts/jeans for the bottom of the outfit.
- no bags that day – please leave all at the hotel, because the Pearl Harbor Memorial will not allow them at all.
- Pearl Harbor Performance at 10am Honolulu time – 2pm Austin time.
Meals
- Vouchers for meals: you can use them for breakfast (or all day)

- Meal Money: directors have your individual money for the trip, and we will hand that out on the first day of the trip
- Cross the roads only at crosswalks – they are strict enforcers of jaywalking
- Shoplifting: make sure that you are taking care of your business in a transparent way, so as not to be confused as someone with nefarious activity
- Chaperone Check Ins: each school are
- PDA: please respect the no PDA policies all of our schools have in place
- No Purple Rooms: no guys in girls rooms, and no girls in guys rooms
- Travel in groups – we will move in groups of no less than 4. Period.
- If you are feeling unwell, check with your chaperone and then your director
- Medication: you will turn in your medicine on Wednesday.
- There should be no use of items prohibited by the student code of conduct. In this event, a parent will be contacted, and the student may be sent home at the parent’s expense.
